Leimbach
MAROA - Elsie M. Leimbach, 87,
of Maroa died 12:50 a.m. Monday (Jan. 31, 2005) in Dr. John
Warner Hospital, Clinton. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in
Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson
officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials: Macon
County Historical Society. Mrs. Leimbach was born Sept. 19,
1917, in Logan County, the daughter of Richard Mueller and
Edna Holmes. She was a member of Macon County Historical
Society, Oglesby House and Civil War Round Table of Macon
County. She married Delward Leimbach on July 7, 1940, in St.
Louis County, Mo. He passed away Feb. 14, 1973. Surviving are
her son, William R. Leimbach of Clinton; daughters, Beth Ann
Nelso of Clinton; Marilynn L. Weikle of Maroa; sister,
Marilynn Schaffenacher of Mount Pulaski; brothers, Forrest
Mueller of Akron, Ohio; Richard Mueller of Mount Pulaski; 11
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six
great-stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
