MOUNT
PULASKI -- Berniece A. Koehler, 80, of Mount
Pulaski, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at 7:50
a.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. |

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at
Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski, with the
Rev. Mark Drews officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Mrs. Koehler was a secretary for the state of
Illinois.
She was born Nov. 28, 1927, at Vernon to Otto
and Leona Kruenegel Torbeck. She married Arnold
"Mike" Koehler in Mount Pulaski on April 15,
1948.
She is survived by her husband, of Mount
Pulaski; one daughter, Judith Ann (and Michael)
Coleman of Decatur; one son, Michael (and Donna)
Koehler of Mount Pulaski; four grandchildren,
Joseph and Jacob Coleman of Decatur and Timothy
and Sydney Koehler of Mount Pulaski; and one
brother, Lloyd Torbeck of Morris.
Four brothers and one sister preceded her in
death. |
She was a member of Mount Pulaski Zion
Lutheran Church and the Ladies Circle of the
church.
Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski Zion
Lutheran Church or Mount Pulaski EMS.
