MOUNTPULASKI -- Charles A. "Chuck" Letterle, 80, of
Mount Pulaski died at 8 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 3, 2007) at
Vonderlieth Living Center, Mount Pulaski.
Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Mount Pulaski, with Jeremy Thomason officiating.
Interment: Lake Bank Cemetery, rural Mount Pulaski, where full
military rites will be accorded.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Letterle was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II,
serving in 1945 and 1946 in the Philippines and Guam. He
was a plant manager for Kane Molasses in Mt. Pulaski for 29
years. He was a member of the Mt. Pulaski Christian
Church and Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post 447.

Church, or Alzheimer's Research.
Survivors: His wife, Gladys Letterle, Mount Pulaski; one son,
Donald Ray Letterle, Mount Pulaski; one daughter, Mitzy
Letterle, Lake Fork; one brother, Oliver (Erma) Letterle,
Chestnut; one sister, Louise Savage, Milton, Fla.; 10
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandson.
