Jeannine H. Cichon
MOUNT PULASKI - Jeannine Hays Cichon, 77, of 101 Canterbury
Drive, Easley, S.C., mother of a Mount Pulaski resident, died
Sunday (Jan. 21, 2007) at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Born in Wathena, Kan., she was the daughter of Andrew Franklin
and Edna Straub Hays. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy
Cross Catholic Church in Pickens, S.C.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen (Tim) Scroggin, Mount
Pulaski; Lynn (Dan) Ferris, Lawrenceville, Ga.; and Terri Cichon,
Bedford, Texas; and four grandchildren, Kyle Scroggin, Briana
Scroggin, Cory Ferris and Benjamin Ferris. In addition to her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl S. Cichon.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. today at Holy
Cross Catholic Church, with the Rev. C. Thomas Miles
officiating. A brief visitation will follow in the church
vestibule before departing for burial at Robinson Memorial
Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart
Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Greenville, S.C. 29615 or to Holy
Cross Catholic Church, 558 Hampton Ave., Pickens, S.C. 29671.
