MOUNT
PULASKI -- Harvey M. Davis, 88, of Mount Pulaski died Sunday, June
18, 2006, at 5:40 a.m. at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.
His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian
Church of Mount Pulaski, with Jeremy Thomason officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the
church on Wednesday.

| Burial,
with military rites, will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was a retired farmer.
He was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Aetna Township, Logan County, to
Harvey and Alma Turner Davis. He married Louise E. Coates Colby in
Elkhart on Oct. 9, 1974.
He is survived by his wife, of Mount Pulaski; one daughter, Penny
Davis of Athens, Texas; four stepdaughters, Barbara (and Jeff)
Pirmann of Springfield, Carol (and Dean) Kaesebier of New Carlisle,
Ann (and Jack) Reichle of Lincoln and Joy (and Terry) Blum of
Crystal Lake; one stepson, Thomas Colby (and Hallie Pierceall) of
Springfield; eight stepgrandchildren; and six
step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Marten Davis and David
Davis; and one sister, Helen Rentschler.
Memorials will be made to Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
