   Mount Pulaski Cemetery - on memorial bluff - North Side of town  10 am  
         American Legion & VFW Flag & Rifle Honor Guard Salute - band - speakers
         2 ft. flags decorate all veteran graves - sound system
   Steenbergen Cemetery Chapel - 3 mi South of Town west off of Illiopolis Blacktop  11:15 am
         American Legion & VFW Flag & Rifle Honor Guard Salute - band - speakers 
         15 ft. flags each represent veteran buried in this cemetery (Civil War to present)
    
Independence Day - Friday, July 4th
   Town-wide garage sales (dawn to dusk)
   Annual VFW Fried Chicken Dinner - 10:30 - 1:30 (VFW Hall on South Side of Square - tickets available at the door)
   Fire Works - west side of town - free
 
116th Annual Fall Festival - September 4,5,6
   Rides, entertainment, music; food venders; Methodist Church homemade ice cream & homemade pies
   Evening dinners under the tent (Thurs, Fri. Sat., 5 - 8) - tickets can be bought at the tent door
   11th Illinois Cavalry Company G encampment on courthouse law - Friday (free)
   Parade - Sat., 1 pm
   10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry Regiment Band - concert on Courthouse grounds - Sat., 2:30 (free)
   8th re-enactment of the Abe Lincoln & David Davis 1854 Cast Iron Tombstone Trial - Courthouse Courtroom, Sat., 4:00 (donation)
       Re-enactment will feature two professional actors - 11 cast members, selected (that day) 5-person jury - decision with two possible endings
       Actual 1854 results will be revealed at the end of the production, cameras allowed (no video or recording)

Annual Christmas on Vinegar Hill - November 23 - 24
    Vendors at various locations throughout the town - churches, American Legion Hall, Collier Dance Hall, Grade School, businesses, residences
     Food, candies, holiday items and gifts
